JYL MCLAUGHLIN

CAREER CONSULTANT

Jyl is an experienced Career Coach with over 20 years providing career advisory services to experienced professionals. Currently, she provides outplacement services to senior-level candidates from coast to coast. She has worked in Boston, Cleveland and Fort Wayne understanding various work and hiring cultures. Her passion for supporting those seeking their next career experience and setting up an effective job search strategy is demonstrated by preparing 1000s of job seekers for an employer and job opportunity that supports their interests and values.

 

On a B to B level, Jyl provides Outplacement and Transition services to employers who value the transition needs of their separated employees. Outplacement helps employers maintain a positive reputation and prevents litigious issues when the demands of business require a reduction in force. Jyl, in collaboration with ITS, can provide a customized approach with local and regional employers with on-site attendance for notification meetings.

 

Jyl has Master Degree in Counseling, is a Certified Resume Writer (and is in progress of updating her Master Career Development Professional credentials with National Career Development Association.

SANDY WIDENER

SR. CONSULTANT RESUME WRITER

Sandy has over 24 years of experience in assisting individuals to develop “Stand Out From the Crowd” resumes and cover letters. She has spent over 2 decades assisting people of all races, creeds, socio-economic status, and education level to find meaningful and gainful employment. Her Master’s Degree is in Organizational Management, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and earned a Professional Certification in Human Services in addition to being a Certified Employment Specialist. She taught in-person and online postsecondary classes in Grant Writing, Business Law, Strategies, Career Placement, and various classes for a Human Service Certification Program. Her goal is to put together a marketing document that will be a paper reflection of the competencies that each and every person is bringing to their new opportunity.

CARRIE JONES

CAREER MANAGEMENT COACH & EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Carrie became a Certified Career Management Coach in October 2013, as a part of her personal and professional development. Her passion is helping team members at her company – as well as external clients – find and focus on their ideal career paths. Since obtaining her certification, Carrie has taken pride in helping 85+ clients shift their focus toward their true passions and talents, to find lasting fulfillment.

 

As a Recruiting & Retention Manager for a local credit union, Carrie focuses on attracting and retaining talent, in addition to helping align team members to meet their “best fit” throughout the company. Her additional expertise includes interview preparation, resume reviews, and career placement and advancement.

DR. LARRY KUHN, PSYD, HSPP

Dr. Larry Kuhn, PsyD, HSPP, President and Owner of Prepare to Change, has more than 25 years’ experience in defining and implementing business strategies and large-scale change management efforts. He currently provides team development, executive coaching and in-depth assessment solutions across all levels of an organization within a variety of industries. Through his role as Senior Consultant with Erisman Consultancy, he provides management consulting and assessment services specific to the healthcare industry. Larry also conducts leadership seminars on Coaching Competencies for Executives, Goal Setting, Assertiveness Training, Interpersonal Skills for Managers, Collaborative Problem-Solving Techniques, Communication Skills, among others.

 

As a compliment to his management consulting and coaching, Larry created Aspire™, a state-of-the-art assessment and performance management platform offering 400+ assessments and skills tests designed to provide data-driven insights toward positive and sustainable employee selection, leader development, and personal growth.

 

Dr. Kuhn earned his Doctorate from Azusa Pacific University. He currently oversees change management and assessment interventions for the California and Indiana offices and is a licensed psychologist in both states.
